Every new concept introduced to our students, it requires to be done in a step by step procedure especially if many of our students are not familiar with it. I admired the way the instructor had presented the idea of the use of blogs in writing. I really wanted to share this to my colleagues in school especially the teachers from 3-6. I am positive that it will really be a great experience on the students’ ability to write and express their opinion on some issues that pertain to their interest. They may be able to share their experiences to other students in other schools and may acquire some ideas which may help them with their weaknesses and how to overcome and improve it. Since these students love to talk whenever they have a chance, it will probably have them start writing in their journal they creating their blog account. It will certainly be a part of their homework which will enhance their writing skills. This, however, has to be mastered on how to go about it because it is not easy. I, myself, am struggling memorizing the procedure by heart. More practice is needed and it is advisable that a hard copy is provided as their reference. Teachers as well should be able to try it first. If teachers are not comfortable with the new skill, we need trainings and experts to show us. Thus, we enjoy the experience with our students.
