Games are fun way to transmit information. Since young boys and girls love to play video games, I am convinced that in order to learn and understand the concept better, it is enhanced to employ games. However, as an educator, we need to be selective as to what games the students are to be exposed with. Games should cater to their needs and concepts being taught. The wordmaster is a nice game to reinforce vocabulary words. It gives the student which word fits the missing word from the word bank or from clues given. It is not frustrating on the part of the learner. Although, it is challenging as the game progressed to the next round. Unlocking the meaning of the word is very important.
Games have a lot to teach us about creating effective learning. One must use the rules prescribed. The student is given the ability to judge and choose the best answer. Modifications are made to fit the needs of the learner. This is incredible and inviting to all!!!!
